No, actually. I’m wrong. 64 bit can support 16.8 million TB of RAM. It’s because the limits of 32 bit are constrained to 2^32, whereas the limits of 64 bit are constrained to 2^64.

Any 32 bit operating system can handle up to 4GB of RAM minus your VRAM. That means if your video card has 1GB of VRAM and you have 4GB of RAM installed, then the OS will only see 3GB of RAM. A 64 bit OS can see up to 64TB of RAM.

little help: Windows XP on 32 bit can handle 3GB, Windows 7 on 32 bit can handle 4GB and on 64 bit 6GB!

Hi people i just added 1 GB of RAM and it worked,ok,but when i went to the Video card properties (i use NVIDIA GeForce 7025/630a )and it allways said (before i added the 1GB RAM)that the total video memory was 271 MB but now it says it has 831 MB is that true or juset a bug or something else
