A lovely and beautifully executed piece.

But the opening is completely derivative from a music video from 10 years ago, “Do the Evolution”, which as produced by Epoch Ink Animation for Pearl Jam.

Look at the beginning sequences of both videos.

Ideas, images and angles. Completely “borrowed”.

  2. Jubb3500 Says:

Yeah, like the “creative” Deutch advertisors of this piece that ripped off their opening scenes from an AMERICAN created animation video, “Do the Evolution”.

    Check it out, mene fruend.

  3. Jubb3500 Says:

Looks like they “borrowed” a fair amount of the opening imagery from our “Do the Evolution” music video for Pearl Jam.

    It’s a compliment, I guess.

Just to make one thing clear: Germans don`t sound angry when they speak German! In the vid, the angry sound is for making the sentence “We hate expensive!” more memorable.(it`s the slogan of the company)

?? Seriously? The former GM owned Saturn? Or another company? If its former GM, then I don’t want it. :P A friend of mine has a Saturn Ion Quad Coupe, and anything electric in it is always on the fritz. From his fog lights, to his mirrors, to his anti-theft lock, to his wipers. Thing’s fucked.

  18. japrogramer Says:

this commercial really didn’t show evolution. it appeared, to me, more like predatorism and some kind of parasitism .

I never, ever find robot chicks sexy. The thought of a thin layer of phony skin covering all those metallic joints and servos is just disgusting.

When I grab a hold of a woman, I want MEAT!

  23. pppasoliniboa Says:

costs are not important until people go and throw away good old technology just to be hip with the newest one. but no worry, everything in this world comes to an end.
