I don’t know about the robo-suit things. I mean Robotech was essentially the same thing in the early 80’s but none of that can beat the best movie ever made: Robot Jox. pfffttt hahahaha.

the most well outspoken fact mentioned. you said it right. This director is king. Look at Terminator 2, The Abyss- yes the technology was powerful but the reason people still keep watching this movies even today is becuase of good acting and storytelling.

very true. they do not know that James Cameron’s move Aliens – alot of movies and games like Halo, Matrix Revolutions, and Starship troopers got their vehicle concept from the particular movie.

Plus he sort of had an amp suit in Aliens when Ripley fought the Queen.

I find the comments so funny, but obviously the younger commentors have no idea of camerons work. They dont know that it has His movies that led to majority of the style’s, theme’s,even dialoge that you see in todays games and films. The problem with the young today is the fact they never look in the past to see whats been done before. For instance, Much of the visuals in avatar stem from YES Album artist Roger Dean. Psygnosis (now SudioLiverpool) based much of there art on his works.

    I think 1:30-1:33 is the best sequence… :)

    “like some average game design”

I wouldn’t exactly say “average”, but you can see the influence. Uninspired, maybe. What I saw here was Panzer Dragoon Orta, Halo, and some Mech Assault game.
